Presqu’ile Winery, situated on 200 acres in the foothills just outside the city. The state of the art contemporary winery incorporates gravity flow processing in a five-level production building which is separated from the hospitality building below. The two structures are linked by a cave and an elevator. The angular butterfly roof design is accentuated by steel, glass, and concrete block, while floor to ceiling glass windows throughout bring in natural light and views. Metal catwalks and custom designed concrete fermentation tanks expertly accommodate the various styles of wine produced. A broad, modern, metal canopy, supported on one end by a single V shaped column, extends from the butterfly roof, providing shade for the crush area below.
